Center of Japan Post

At Tsurugamine, there is “Center of Japan Post”, a stone monument to show that this place is the center of Japan. It is located at latitude 36 degrees 00 minute 47 seconds north, 137 degrees 59 minutes 36 seconds of east longitude. From an observatory called Nihon-no-Yane (the Japan roof), you can enjoy a panoramic view of South, North, Central Alps and Yatsugatake Mountains.
